Finding the right doctor is important for many different reasons.  One of the biggest reasons is that it can impact your benefit amount paid by your plan.  Many benefit plans require that you use a provider that is a member of designated provider network  (PPO) chosen by the plan. 

SOMI contracts with several PPO organizations throughout the country.  In order to determine which PPO covers you, please refer to your ID card, or your Summary Plan Description, or a Schedule Of Benefits. Your PPO should be clearly identified on one of these documents. Once identified, select the appropriate PPO to find a provider.
